Connecting@M.A.D.E

What a coup!

Having our first meeting for 2013 at M.A.D.E. (the Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka) was a great way to start the year.

Although the museum is not yet open, we were fortunate to have a tour of the facility with Project Director, Katherine Armstrong, and we were able to see first hand the Museum's  interactive exhibitions which will explore the evolution and the future of democracy.

Katherine's enthusiasm/passion for the project was infectious and most Connect members left the Museum wanting more and planning to come back for another visit.

Connect members not only recognised the huge drawcard of the Museum for tourism destination and education, but also saw the opportunities the facility provided for events, meetings etc.

Following the tour, we had a brief meeting over lunch (in what will be the new cafe area with fabulous views over the grounds) and welcomed a number of new members (more photos in the Gallery). We look forward to their future involvement with Connect Networking.
